Did you know? The Coral Springs Craft Guild has given out over $68,000 in scholarships over the past 47 years. Scholarships are awarded to talented high school seniors who submit examples of their art.
Who can apply? Scholarships are open to high school seniors with talent in any of the visual arts. Applicants must be a US citizen or legal resident; a high school senior who lives in Coral Springs regardless of where they attend high school (including Virtual School and home school students); or any student who attends one of the five high schools assigned to Coral Springs residents. You don’t have to be enrolled in an art class, or even have had any formal art education, as long as you have artistic talent!
What mediums are eligible? Examples include, but are not limited to, painting, ceramics, sculpture, pen and ink, clothing design and digital art.
What is required? Submit 3 examples of your work, along with a letter validating your original art and a 200 word essay on how your interest in art fits your plans for the future.
How to apply? For more information and to receive an application, please email us at cscraftguild@gmail.com. Applications will also be available at participating schools during second semester. The deadline will be April 30, 2026. Students’ art work will be picked up from each of the Coral Springs High Schools on that date. Students who live in Coral Springs, but do not attend any of the high schools in Coral Springs should email us for information about delivering their artwork.
